In honor of the children of Sandy Hook, Conn., I have decided to forego selling DVD's of the show this year and post the entire show on You Tube for your enjoyment. Working with these youngsters the same age as those that perished was quite an experience and had a profound effect on me. These are all special kids. Hug them tight!

Shely Pack-Manning inaugurated as president of Dance Masters of America Saturday July 7th, 2012!
Dance Masters of America has been around in one form or another since 1884, when the American National Association Masters of Dancing was founded in Boston, MA. and in 1894, the International Masters of Dancing held its first convention in St. Louis, MO.
In 1926 the two groups were combined and became the Dancing Masters of America (which was later changed to Dance Masters of America in 1948). This prestigious group brings thousand of young dance students together every year to compete in their annual competition. The Shely Pack Dancers proudly lists as their accomplishments a Miss Dance of America 2000; Mr. Dance of America 2003; Teen Mr Dance of America 2001 & 2006, and Jr. Mr. Dance of America 2009.

The Arts Council Diamond Awards are presented each year to recognize outstanding contributions made by individual artists, educators, volunteers, foundations, corporations, or by government support to the arts in San Mateo County.
This year, the 10th Annual Diamond Awards was held at the Kohl Mansion in Burlingame on February 2, 2012.
Shely Pack Dancer joins brother in cast of Billy Elliot!
Lexi Viernes, the source of inspiration for her brother JP Viernes’s meteoric rise to stardom as Billy Elliot in the touring show of the same name, has been cast in the show to work along side her brother. To have two Shely Pack Dancers in the same show is not new to the studio (Kristen Oei and Peter Chursin were cast in the production of Wicked in both Los Angeles and San Francisco a few years ago) but having siblings in the same show is quite a feat.
Lexi began rehearsals December 13th in Washington D.C. and joined the show in her first performance in Minneapolis, Minnesota after the first of the year.
